“Dr. Caban, you are an unbelievable person! My son Troy is away at college only 3 days into his freshman year and he breaks his bonded retainer. He calls me on a Sunday morning wanting to come home to see his orthodontist in NJ. I tell him you can't come 3 hours away just for that. So I jump on the internet and start calling orthodontists located in Springfield, MA. It's Sunday of Labor Day weekend and of course all of them are closed until Tuesday for the holiday and my son is in pain. I called your office and you were the only person who left an emergency number on the recording. I called the number and you were on vacation and answered the phone. I told you my son’s issue and the first thing you said is no problem, I will be back in town later tonight and have your son meet me at my office. My son takes a taxi to meet with you and asks the taxi driver to wait a few minutes to drive him back to college. Well, the taxi driver didn't wait and then here you are willing to drive my son back to school on top of refusing to be compensated for your services.
